For Heaven's Sake is a Southern Gospel Group formed in Murray, KY more than 10 years ago by Michael and Lawanda Glover. Michael has a passion for gospel music, and he loves to sing for the Lord. He's a great encourager of others and is dedicated to promoting southern gospel music. Lawanda has been blessed to be a part of this journey with Michael, and she is thankful for the opportunities to sing. FHS added Paris, Tennessee native, Terri Bruce, to the group a few years ago. In addition to her wonderful voice, Terri brings to the group her considerable keyboard skills to add yet another dimension to FHS.
They have just released their third project and are excited that God is using them and their music to glorify Himself.
For Heaven's Sake, Yours Truly, and King's Sons will be singing at the First United Methodist Church Activities Center in Murray, Kentucky on Saturday evening, October 24 beginning at 6:00 p.m. This was supposed to be the Praise in the Park Concert, but due to the weather forecast, it has been moved indoors. I hope you will make plans to join us!

For Heaven's Sake had the privilege of singing Sunday morning and Sunday evening at Ponderosa Baptist Church in Cadiz, KY. Michael led the worship service for their revival. All I can say is wow! What an incredible time we have had. Bro. Shane Board was the evangelist, and he delivered some very powerful messages. The pastor, Bro. Norman Cotton, the music minister, Ron Yonts, and their wives, and the entire congregation were wonderful to us. Such a friendly, loving group of people. If you live in that area, and you are not involved in church, my advice is to go check them out!! You will not want to leave. What a blessing they were to us.

Happy Valentine's Day to everyone. It should bring to mind the great love that Jesus Christ had for us, a love so great that He would give His life so that we could be saved!! That's the ultimate love sacrifice!

We are looking forward to singing at Rosebower Baptist Church near Reidland, Ky on Saturday night, July 19, at 6:00 p.m. This is a benefit concert for Ms. Alice Kehoe, who is needing a liver transplant. We hope that you will come out to the concert and will be able to bless this lady in whatever way the Lord leads you. The Liberty Boys and Yours Truly will be singing, too. It should be a great evening, and we hope that you will be there to be a part of it.
We had an awesome weekend!! On Saturday, we were invited to be a part of Eric Horner's ministry project, Operation Tank Full of Love. We were very honored to have been a part of that event. Eric has a heart for our military men and women, and he travels all over the United States to do concerts on military bases. His most recent project is to raise money to buy fuel for the men and women on active duty stationed at Fort Campbell, KY. Last year, he provided fuel to many of the people there to the tune of $37,000.00. This year his goal is $50,000.00. If you would like to contribute to this ministry, you can go to his website, www.erichorner.com
On Sunday, we were blessed to have been a part of the homecoming service at Central Point Baptist Church in Paris, TN. It was a day filled with good preaching, good food and then a concert afterwards. Such nice, friendly people, and the church was just as full for the concert as it had been for the morning service. (Believe me, that's not always the case!) It was a wonderful day and a wonderful weekend!
